Canadian manufacturers will introduce anti-virus plastic cling film

Canada's Toxin Alert Inc. announced that the company has invented a food wrap that can detect food poisoning. The company’s president, Bodenhammer, said that plastic wrap, coated with a chemical, deforms from a circle to a star when it encounters certain toxins. He said that this chemical is non-toxic and will not contaminate food. He expects this new plastic cling film to be put on the market by the end of the year. The company said that the cost of this new cling film is estimated to be 25% higher than that of ordinary cling film. It has been reported that this new cling film will be able to test out Salmonella, Trichoderma, Escherichia and Listeria.
