Understanding allergens increases resistance

Skin allergies are common in our daily lives, some are allergic to milk and seafood, some are allergic to metal jewelry or drugs, some are allergic to dust or pollen in the air. When allergies occur, people are prone to eczema dermatitis, in addition to causing itchy skin, erythema, papules and wheal, and severely affect the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, digestive system and nervous system. The patient will not consciously grasp, the mood is upset, the night can not be paralyzed, seriously affecting daily life and work. Therefore, allergies are not a trivial matter that should be scratched and should be highly valued by patients. If you know what you are allergic to and avoid contact, your skin allergies may disappear or be greatly reduced. If blindly taking the drug without knowing the allergen, it will not achieve the desired effect.

Allergen examination methods can be divided into in vivo tests and in vitro tests . The in vivo test is to apply the allergen to the human body through skin test or pricking, observe the human body's response to allergens, and determine whether the patient is allergic to these allergens; in vitro test is to take the patient's blood or other body fluids for in vitro detection. Allergens are not directly applied to the human body. Department of Dermatology, First Affiliated Hospital of PLA General Hospital, Zou Xianyu

In vivo test

Intradermal test

By injecting allergens in vivo, the skin's response is observed after a certain period of time, and it is determined whether or not the allergen is allergic according to the condition of the skin reaction.

2. Prick test

The prick test can be regarded as a special intradermal test by first dropping a prick test on the skin, then passing the puncture needle through the drop and piercing the skin. The puncture of the skin is only one ten thousandth of the intradermal test and is safer. Because the skin lesions are small, the patient has no pain. Our department uses the international standardized antigen - Germany Arrog Point puncture.
