Reimotec, a German manufacturer of plastic monofilament and packaging tape extrusion equipment, claims that the company invented the recycling of PET/Nylon bottles into packaging tape technology without the use of a compatibilizer. Previously, the German plastics processing plant had to add compatibilizers to recover PET/Nylon bottles. Prior to the implementation of the mandatory deposit system, most of the PET bottles recovered in Germany were exported to China.
